One of the questions that people have been asking since the very beginning is how to find true happiness. It seems like everyone is looking for it but doesn’t really know what it is. What about you, do you know what true happiness is? Here are 3 keys on how to find happiness so that you can live a great life.

1. Know what happiness is for you.

How to find true happiness must first start with you knowing what happiness is for you. After all, if you are looking for it, it would help to know what exactly it is you are looking for. Take some time and really define what happiness looks, feels, sounds, and tastes like to you. Once you know this you will be able to stop chasing the wind.

2. Create a map to happiness.

Just like you would map out a route if you were taking a road trip, you need to create a map or a plan on how you are going to reach your definition of happiness. It’s great to know what happiness is for you but that is useless information if you don’t create a plan on how you are going to achieve it.

3. Work the plan.

Happiness won’t necessarily happen over night but it will come if you work your plan. The key here is to work your plan until you have reached your goals and to never stop for nothing less. The moment you stop or allow defeat to enter in, you will never have true happiness. There will be plenty of opportunity to quit but you can’t give up.

Who Around You is Happy

Today, I want you to do a little experiment. I want you to take note of those people around you who are happy. What are they like? How do they live? What are their attitudes like? How about their energy? What can you learn from them?

In my life I’ve seen about a handful of people who I can consider to be a happy person. Not just an individual who keeps a plastic smile but rather a person who had the energy, attitude and actions of a happy person. These people actually made you happier, just by being around them.

Everyone of these people them had a demeanor and attitude that set them apart from other people. They consciously decided that they would be positive regardless of the circumstance.

There was a janitor at my old college who always appeared happy to me and his actions, words and energy would always reflect his positive attitude.

One day when in my 2nd year, I asked him, just how he became so positive and he told me that every person has two choices, they can either choose to respond positively to a situation or they can respond negatively to a situation. I always remembered his response.

Ways to Personal Fulfillment

If you are not feeling fulfilled in your personal life, it can affect every thing that you say and do. Personal fulfillment is the reason that some people exude confidence and serenity. These people don’t seem to have a care in the world. The reason for their confidence and peace of mind is that they are satisfied with their life. You too can reach this lofty goal of inner peace and personal fulfillment.

Visualization is one way that you can achieve personal fulfillment. You shouldn’t just let your life pass you by. Create a vision of what you want your life to be and you will have it. The important part is to know that you can have your vision and that everything in life is possible. Once you begin to think more positively about your future you will begin to be satisfied with where you are currently.

Every step on your way to achieving your vision should be thought of as an adventure. It will bring you closer to the goal that you have set for yourself about where you want to be in life. If your dream is to live in a country house with a lovely flower garden, hang up pictures of these types of houses and remain positive that you will get there. Do everything in your power to bring your goal closer to you. But remember that you must remain positive about the steps you are taking.

There will be times when you don’t feel very positive about your current situation. Life has a way of showing us from time to time that we are not in the place where we want to be. Shun these thoughts and keep them from derailing your plan.

You should also keep negative people out of your life. Some people take a great deal of pleasure from being negative about your plans. They will tell you all of the reasons that you can’t achieve your goal and try to make you believe that it is impossible. It is sometimes impossible to keep these people out of your life, but you should minimize the contact. Maybe you could even try to help them eliminate the negativity in their own thought pattern and start on their own road to personal fulfillment. If they are not willing to listen, simply keep them out of your life.

Wish Fulfillment

Collectively or personally, each of us faces physical challenges, terminal illnesses, or limited income barriers for seniors. There isn’t one individual out there in their right state of mind that is going to face limitations, death, or being an elderly individual within a light hearted manner, generally. The end of a life isn’t anything that you want to laugh and joke around about. Within this article, we are going to discuss wish fulfillment.

Whenever an announcement is made, concerning available foundations that are willing to pay for wish fulfillment or a lifelong dream, there are adult organizations that will pay for the basic needs and several other things that most individuals are appreciative of this particular availability. However, there are others that when they are faced with having none or inadequate insurance, death, emotional, and financial strains, that flatly question, are sometimes puzzled.

Out of those individuals that are experiencing sorrow, how many of them are thinking about going on vacation or whether or not they have the time to go on vacation? Take into consideration that no one isn’t attempting to tarnish, or even belittle, by any means the grief, sorrow, hurt, grief, or loss of any other physical or emotional challenge that several individuals may carry or face.

Always remember that life isn’t over until it is over. You shouldn’t get caught up within the immediate times; you should get caught up in the forever. Wishes and dreams aren’t inconvenient, stupid, disrespectful, or tasteless much less anything negative but instead you should realize that dreams, basic needs, and wishes all carry several positive aspects even despite all of life’s circumstances.

Dream or wish fulfillment isn’t a vacation but instead, it is a chance for a patient and family to relieve some stress for the individual patient so that all of their energy may be focused on healing. A retreat from the unyielding emotional and physical demands that may provide you with a chance to escape and just share some quality time with friends, family, and self.

Dream or wish fulfillment provides the recipient, friends, and family, with the opportunity to make lasting memories with special moments that may make life spirits and possess the ability to ease the turmoil of having to say good-bye to all of those that we cherish, admire, or love. Cherished memories and happy times allow an individual to pass on from this world by being comforted with the joy of leaving all of those final beautiful memories that were most valued, there are all of the things that are able to be look back upon and that are able to be carried for a lifetime.

Your Passion For Life

I’m writing to you today about a very, very important subject - passion. Now don’t get this confused with your nighttime activities in the bedroom, that’s not what I’m talking about. We’ll discuss that later…

What is your passion? Do you have passion for life? If I asked you to get a piece of paper and a pen and write down 50 things that you’re passionate about, would you be stuck after about three? Ok, calm down. I’m not going to do that! But seriously, most of us sort of “sleepwalk” through life not even considering if we’re doing what we really and truly are passionate about in life. One thing I ask people is “are you passionate about your job”? Wow, what a loaded question, huh? Try that at work sometime, the blank looks are priceless! But have you honestly taken a hard look at what you do every day? Is it truly what you are good at and love to do? They say that if you are doing what you really love to do every day, and get paid for it, you will never work a day in your life.

Unfortunately, most people aren’t doing what they love but what they “fell into” when they graduated from high school or college. I was in that club myself! I worked many years at a job I didn’t like, because I thought it sounded good at the time. Well, if only I had tried a few things that I enjoyed doing, and followed my dreams, what a big difference it would have made in my life! My passion in school was mostly sports, but I never figured I could make it in that field. Too hard, too many things to go wrong, one excuse after another. Luckily I ended up in computers, which helped me start a business! But my passion is really writing, which if I had just found a few years earlier would have made me so much happier! Money isn’t what I’m talking about, either. If you’re good at something, and most people are good (or get good) at what they enjoy doing every day, you will figure out a way to make the money show up.

So take stock at what you really like to do, what are you skills - are you a good talker? Are you good at problem-solving? Can you create really great things made of wood? Figure out a way to use that skill, either creating a business from it or finding someone that is already in that field and copying what they are doing. Sure, it may take awhile to get a reputation as someone that has great skills at this new endeavor. But any price you pay will be worth it if you can finally make money doing what you really love to do! Your passion in life - and making money too? That’s the best of both worlds!

Ok, there’s more to life than just a “job” right? What other passions do you have in life? Ok, everybody has a hobby right? What have you had in the back of your mind that you “always wanted to try”? Something daring, bold, that would really make you feel alive! Try new things on a regular basis - get out of your comfort zone, expand your horizons! It doesn’t have to be motorcycle racing or skydiving, but just something different. Even just a dancing class or art class at the local community college, learn a new language, take up an instrument, go visiting every museum in your state. There are thousands of activities that can push you to have the time of your life, get out there and live! As they say life is for the living, so make the most of it while you can. We all like to think we’ll live to a ripe old age, but it could all end tomorrow. Don’t let life pass you by, make every minute count starting today.
